New WhatsApp trial
There is an important trial that we would like to share with you - the use of WhatsApp!
I have been using WhatsApp for away matches for this season and the ability to know where all of the coaches are at any point in time is an welcome addition to my matchday operation and allows me to see if any coaches are running behind etc.
However, the process relies on 2 things 1) the steward (nominated passenger) shares their live location as they board the coach and 2) each passenger who wants to use WhatsApp to see where their coach is, understands that your phone number will be seen by others in the WhatsApp group.
The overall plan is to have one WhatsApp for each bus/coach route but this will take time to create. Therefore, we will collate all of the orders where passengers have selected the Yes option to join the WhatsApp group as part of the online booking process.
The top 5 routes will then be selected for the initial trial assuming we can get the steward/nominated passenger to share their live location whilst on board.
The additional benefit is that each route will have their own WhatsApp group where they can share BHAFC Matchday communication etc. I'm also thinking that if we have any 'Return Only' passengers or passengers are lost in the coach park, they can see exactly where the coach is located by walking to the shared 'live location' in the coach park.
This is the instalment option which costs an additional £15 per person and please note that our u12 option can not be used for instalments.
For u12's, please use our pay in full product.
The instalment plan is slightly different this season. Whatever the total cost the travel season ticket, the instalment process will reduce the cost by a standard £140. The remaining £140 will be taken by 2 instalments of £70 on the 1st Nov 2024 and 1st Feb 2025
Please note that due to our Payment Interface Compliance, we will need to contact you to take the instalment payments although we may set up another on-line product which will allow you to process the payment on-line. We will communicate nearer the time.
This is a pre-booked service and only includes home league games.
Important pick up time announcement
Following feedback from passengers and the many different pick up times, we have made the decision to simplify the pick up times. This means, if you are picked at 1pm for a 3pm kick off (2 hours before KO) you will be picked up at 6pm for a 8pm kick off and so on.
The benefits are:
- Guaranteed travel seat for the all home league games
- Pick up location close to your home
- Benefit from an Amex drop off 30 yards from the stadium
- Plenty of time to visit the mega store prior to start of the game or enjoy a pie and beer or two!
- No need to book match by match and therefore saving booking fees and time
- Receive service updates/changes via text message
- Prompt post match departure, either 17:15 or 22:00 (Subject to BHA Traffic Control)
- Travel season ticket holders have priority to book their travel to home cup games
- Professional service, run by life-long Seagull supporters

Some location descriptions have been abbreviated in order to include all pick up times.
Some routes may change to meet demand.
